Rise of the Pheonix

I'm thinking about bringing back this blog so I'm working on a header and background right now. I'll be back, but please excuse the mess for a few weeks.

Also, I'll be changing up the purpose and posting far fewer photos. This blog was originally for a class, but now I have free reign to make it about whatever I want!!!

Any thoughts, suggestions, post requests?

Drift: October

I sent in some pics to the Drift, a monthly St. Augustine free mag, and they actually printed them!! Trying to keep the creativity going. Check it out if you live in St. A, they are all over town!

My recent weekend in Savannah

I'd never been to Savannah and my roomie has family there. Well, one cousin was turning 21 and what better time to go then to celebrate! Here are some shots from the trip:

Iconic Movie Roles Re-done

I thought THIS was a really nice photo project, just wanted to share!!

Simple Photo Illustrations

I made this one look older, paled the yellow, deepened the red, just played with the colors.

This is a full color photo with green elephant, I made it B&W, then I erased the elephant and changed it to purple.
I just sharpened this one and saturated the colors and tweaked the shadows a bit.

This is actually an amazing mural on the 4th floor of Ponce hall. It's old and worn so I cropped out some things laying on the floor, saturated the colors, reduced the noise and sharpened the image.

First 2 were done in Photoshop, the last 2 in iPhoto.
